The Multimodal Terminal Trier is managed by the Bonn-based terminal operator Am Zehnhoff-Söns Group (AZS).

The Port of Trier has a direct link to the inland waterways of the Saar (91 km) and Moselle (364 km) rivers, which in turn are linked to the European network of inland waterways, for example via the Rhine to the Main and Danube and to the major north German waterways to the east and west.

The Multimodal Terminal Trier is already a powerful hub for Europe’s goods and freight traffic and is constantly expanding its range of services.

Our terminal offers cost-efficient and sustainable services for multimodal transport. One of its USPs is the wide range of services for containers. These include transloading and trucking, inland waterway transport on the Moselle and Saar rivers, repairs, rail transloading, stuffing & stripping and a door-to-door service.
